Four new Generic Drugs now available

Generic Aldara, Augmentin XR, Flomax and Yaz recently became available for purchase in the United States. Generic and brand-name medications have the same active ingredient, strength and dose. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) requires generics to meet the same high standards for purity, quality, safety and strength.  When a generic becomes available for a brand-name medication people can save on their out of pocket expenses by utilizing them, so anyone currently taking a brand name medication should make a habit of asking their doctor if any generic versions of their medications have been released whenever they go in for a checkup.
